Quite an interesting place to be June 29, 2010

Blogging is a sphere I discovered recently. I assumed it was another form of social networking and didn’t catch on immediately. I thought of giving it a try only last year. I’ve found a lot of strangers with different touches to their blogging.

Some have got it as a form of diary logging daily events that trigger a thought or reflection. That’s good. Others log their thoughts on political events, sports (recently the FIFA), movies and works of fiction/ non-fiction.

The ones I’ve really loved are those mothers (I haven’t caught onto the fathers yet, sorry about that) with kids. They log their flourishing relationships with their kids in a daze and it’s so touching and wonderful. The hint of dry wit and sarcasm – cracks me up. Sometimes they make me misty-eyed too.

Check out some of these posts that I’ve found amazing, even if they didn’t make it to WordPress’s homepage:

I too get a big kick out of the moms. I am one, but my 3 are getting older (19, 15 and 11), and I’m not “allowed” to blog about them all the time. They tell me that it’s embarassing, even though their friends don’t even know that the blog exists!

Here’s one of my favorites:

she has an amazing sense of humor; and I can relate to a lot of the things she’s going through now, as something that I went through at one time or another with my kids. Nostalgic? Yeah, but funny!
